For Families

You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone

Helping Families Move From Crisis to Clarity

You are not the patient. You still need a plan. Most admissions calls in this field are made by a parent, a partner, or an adult child who has been managing someone else’s crisis on no sleep.

This page will not ask you to diagnose them. It will tell you what licensed care looks like, what families actually do during PHP and IOP, how insurance verification works, and when to stop waiting for readiness that may not arrive in the form you want.

Understand What Licensed Care Looks Like

What Families Can Do This Week

You do not need to diagnose your loved one or become their therapist. We can help you understand the treatment process, what PHP and IOP involve, and which level of care may be appropriate based on their current needs.

Small, practical steps can create more clarity. You can verify insurance benefits, schedule a family consultation before your loved one agrees to treatment, establish a safety plan, and ask whether PHP, IOP, or 24-hour care may be the appropriate next step.

Confidential Care

Clear Guidance for Families

When an adult enters treatment, their privacy matters. Clinical information is shared with family only with the appropriate consent and within applicable privacy laws. Federal protections, including 42 CFR Part 2, exist to protect the confidentiality of substance use disorder treatment information.

You can take the first step even if your loved one has not. We can help you understand the process, clarify your options, and build a plan for what comes next.
